How to Limit the Search Results ?

Hi,

 

Can we Limit the Standard search Results based on an attribute ?

For example if we have check box viewable and if it is Unchecked . Can we make that Acccount Not appear in search Results ?

Found out that there is no way you can limit the results and all the records that are visible to that profile will be included in the results.

In my opinion you can’t limit the standard search result as you want, however you can filter records for particular object only. For example if you want that search result would be result in only account records. For that there is a link below to search input field named “Advance Search”.you can limit the search to single object’s record or multiple.
