What server name do I use when I use Data Loader?

Hi,

I'm using Data Loader 15 and Developer Edition.

I read Data Loader developer's Guide.

But I couldn't understand what server host I should use.

And my company uses proxy servers. The port digit is 5.

But Data Loader Settings allows 4 digit :smileysad:

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

astraea

Have you tried:

https://www.salesforce.com

That should work.

make sure you set an proxy address under settings.
NskyNsky

You can change and write 5 digit port number on your dataloader config.properties file.

That file is in a as following directory.

C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\salesforce.com\Apex Data Loader 20.0
