I want to have a task have a custom lookup for another database (this one being customers) rather than accounts or contacts.
Is this possible?
I was able to do what I wanted by selecting a checkbox inside my custom object called enable activities, or something like that.
No you can not create a reference field on task. And this is a duplicate post :
