uploading package error .. need help:(

Hello,

 

While Uploading the package i am getting a validation restriction " Salesforce.com does not currently allow export of components referencing to Data Categories." 

 

can any body please help me how can i upload my code. and create a package

Hi Vishal Sharma,

 

Salesforce doesn't allow to upload the package for several reasons like, included components in the package may contain Org specific things.

 

For Example1: In an Email alert if the "Recipient Type" contail any Role or user:UserName, SF will not allow to upload the package.

 

EX:2   If some Reports exist in "Unfiled Public Reports" or "My Personal Custom Reports"  those will not be allow to be upload in that packge because those are org specific.

 

Like above scenarios you are trying to upload the packge which contain the Org specific data or Components.

once go throught the newly added Compoents to the package check is there any Org secific component exist, try to remove that from that packge and upload the package again.
