Schedule report export

Is there a way to schedule the export of a report to a public file on your computer?  I was given the task of creating some pretty detailed, specific reporting packages (ones that cannot be achieved by simply making a dashboard).  My thought was that if I scheduled the reports to export every so often to the same filename, I could create a word doc or excel sheet of reports based on data linked to those exported files.  Then, every time the data was exported again, the report package would reflect those changes.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

Not with reports.  You can batch schedule an export of the data you need using the API.  The free Data Loader tool can be run from the command line and export to .csv:

There are also a number of partner solutions on the AppExchange:

Yes, there is the way. An ETL tool Skyvia supports Salesforce reports and allows users to easily export Salesforce data to Google Sheets (https://skyvia.com/data-integration/integrate-salesforce-google-sheets) or Excel on schedule.

We use it to export SFDC data (including reports) daily and are pretty satisfied with this tool. Hope it helps!
