KirbyBryan Installation Issues with Force.com IDE
I am trying to install the Force.com IDE as a plug-in into Eclipse 3.6. When I follow the instructions to Install New Software for the IDE I get the following error:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: Force.com IDE 20.0.0.201010190848 (com.salesforce.ide.feature.feature.group 20.0.0.201010190848)
I am running Vista which is not listed as supported. Is that my problem. I would rather not upgrade my OS if possible.

Here's the full error message saying what's missing:

Missing requirement: Structured Text Model 1.1.402.v201001251516 (org.eclipse.wst.sse.core 1.1.402.v201001251516) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.emf.common [2.4.0,3.0.0)' but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: Force.com IDE 20.0.0.201010190848 (com.salesforce.ide.feature.feature.group 20.0.0.201010190848)
To: org.eclipse.wst.sse.core [1.0.0,2.0.0)

Make sure you also have the Eclipse project site as an avalable software site. Folow the steps you used to add the Force.com IDE Remote Site and add the Eclipse project site.
For Eclipse 3.5 (Galileo) it would be - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo/

btw, i had to use : http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo/
