Hide/obscure password field custom object

Hi,

The title pretty much says it all, is there a way to mark a text field as a password on a custom object? I haven't seen a way to do this.

Thanks

Hi,

I don't know of such a field type. I guess you'll have to use VisualForce to achieve this kind of functionality.

Thanks for the answer. I should have searched a bit more before posting, after I realized that this is not possible with a standard custom object model.
