Reporting Question: Finding customers who purchased product A and B
What is the best way to get this from reports?
I would like to know all customers (including contact info) who have opportunity products A and B, but A and B don't necessarily have to be in the same opportunity.
Are you using Assets or just Opps?
For the Ops side, if you run a opp/products report and put in the criteria.
1 Product equals A
OR
2 product equals b
If you only want to find contacts with A & B combined only, change the OR statement to AND.
Hope this helps
Thank you for the reply!
Yes, I am using Opportunities.
I tried with 'AND' but that assumes that Product A and B exist on the same opportunity, which is not what I am looking for.
Instead I would like to find customers who have purchased A and B in different time spans.
So for example, last year customer purchased 'A' (and has a closed - won opportunity) and a year later purchased 'B' (also closed - won opportunity).
Did you try the OR statement?
I havent run this type of report so its possible that you might need to use Product "Contains" A. OR Product "Contains" B
"OR" does not guarantee that the customer purchased A and B in their lifetime.
So if the customer purchased A but not B it would satisfy the condition but not my requirements ;)
Please try to create Opportunity eith contact roles and customize the report
ePeople,
I'm not sure I follow you?
Just try.. hope it can resolve the problem..
