Outboust Message error

when i try to send Message through Outboust Message of salesforce i am getting java.lang.NullPointerException

what would be the reason for this.

 

Is there any way get more details about error.

Seems like the most likely reason is that whatever you're sending the message to is returning a NullPointerException.  I'd start the debugging there -- see if whatever you're sending the message to is actually receiving the message and processing it correctly.
