Export to Excel replaces hyphens with question mark

Hi 

 

When I export to Excel from a Salesforce report I notice that hyphens in certain long text fields are replaced with question marks?

 

How can I resolve this?

Hi Ross,

 

This usually is seen as an encoding issue - can you try changing the format in which you are setting the "Export File Encoding" parameter.

 

Keep it as UTF-8 and see if that fixes the issue..
