Eclipse Force.com IDE Plugin Install Error

Below is the error message,please help me! Thanks!

 

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
  Software being installed: Force.com IDE 28.0.1.201309101331 (com.salesforce.ide.feature.feature.group 28.0.1.201309101331)
  Missing requirement: Force.com IDE API 28.0.0.201307090948 (com.salesforce.ide.api 28.0.0.201307090948) requires 'package org.apache.log4j 0.0.0' but it could not be found
  Missing requirement: Force.com IDE API 28.0.0.201307091110 (com.salesforce.ide.api 28.0.0.201307091110) requires 'package org.apache.log4j 0.0.0' but it could not be found

Hi Ying, 

 

Removing Java7 from the machine so that Eclipse cannot reference it, should revert you back to having just the 1.6 JDK available and you'll be back in business.

I remove jdk 7 and install jdk6. But it still doesn't work. And the error is still that.

Hi Ying, 

 

Try following:

 

- Go to Help | Install New Software | Available Software Sites then click Add... Use Name: Eclipse 3.8 Update Site, Location:http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.8 then make sure it's selected and hit ok

- Click Add.. (on the Help | Install New Software screen) then use Name: Force.com IDE, Location:http://www.adnsandbox.com/tools/ide/install/
