Create a opportunity line item tab

Hi,

 

is it possible to create an opportunity line item tab?

We've created a custom owner field on the opportunity products for our specialty sales departments.

They can't use the list views in opportunities (f.e. my open opportunities, my lost opps etc) so they need one based on opportunity line items. Is this possible?

 

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Hello,

 

It is not possible to create Tab for Opportunity Lineitem. A workaround could be, you can override Opportunity with a Visualforce page and share data on VF profile wise.

 

Let me know if i am misunderstanding your requirement.

Thanks for your reply. So there is no other option? 

Creating a junction object doesn't work either, because I can't select the object products as a master detail relation.

So when I create a new visualforce page, can I create a list view on opportunity owner and on the field "Product" owner?
