Cannot see the fields in Eclipse - Force.com plug in

Hi there!

I recently installed Eclipse as well as the Force.com plug in.  I have access to my org, and the objects, but I cannot drill down to the level of fields.  I´ve seen other people being able to do it, so I know is possible.  Is this a special set up?  Can someone give me a hint?
