Restricting access to report

Is there any way in which we can restrict access to reporting.

 

For eg. a user has read access to particular record but he should not be able to report on it.

You can control access to who can run and create reports through the Profile - link

You can also control access to who can access to individual report folders - link

Would that solve your requiremen?

If you dont have an enterprise verion then you can't lock the access. Any other way?
