Replace Record Type Name

Is there a way to do a "find" and "replace" in Salesforce?  I have a record type name that is put into validation rules, workflows, approval process, etc.  The business wants to change the name but I see it being a good size effort to make the change.  Is there a method I don't know about to make it easier?

There is a simple way to find where it is used.

first go to that record type and click delete if it is used in different places like profiles, validation rules it will prompt before deleting it saying this record type has been used so and so places.

De activate or comment it out where it is used and change the name of the record type then . decoment and activate them.

If this answers your question make this as a solution and give Kudos plz.

Thanks,
Suresh
