Web-to-Lead and Campaign Member Custom Fields

Does anyone know the code or if it is possible to populate a Campaign Member Custom Fields via the web-to-lead form?

If so, can someone share some sample code? I have been tryiing all day and cannot make it work.

No, it's not possible to do that via Web To Lead. You can populate some custom fields on Lead though and then I think you may be able to do a workflow on Campaign Member to copy those fields over via field updates. If not then you can copy them with Apex.
