How to select Case Assignment checkbox by default checked for Portal Cases

How to select Case Assignment checkbox by default checked for Portal Cases. Becuase we want our Assignment rules need to be fired when we create the Portal cases .

Hi,

I have perhaps a workaround for you.

The following is the link for creation of Case:-

Now look at the portion highlighted in red. Its the checkbox box id of the checkbox one needs to check for case assignment.

If you set the cas22=1 in the url for case creation the check box will be checked when the page loads. So may be you can override the new button with this link via an onclick javascript , to achieve your target.
