Can I have a web to lead form without an auto response email

I am using web to lead to load records into salesforce.  Can I disable the auto response?

Thanks

John

Setup-->Customize-->Leads-->Auto-Response Rules

You can deactivate any rules you have created.

Yes but wont that just force me to use the default autoresponse?

You don't have to have any auto response rules active.  Is that what you are concerned about?

I want a web to lead form that does not send any email.  If none of the criteria is met it is my understanding that the default autoresponse is used?

Did you ever figure this out?  We are having the same issue.  We don't want any response sent to our web-to-lead responders.

For anyone who may still come across this...

1) Login to your salesforce account

2) Click your user name in the top right

3) Click Setup

4) In the left navigation section, under App Setup, click Customize->Leads->Web-to-Lead

5) In the Web-to-Lead Settings section, click Edit

6) Clear the Default Response Template field if you don't want to have an autoresponse sent when a web-to-lead form is submitted
