Why the formula column that is created using Report Builder is not being exported in to an Excel?

Dear Folks,

 

I have created a formula field in a report builder and placed that field as a column in my report.It is running fine and when I exported that report in to an excel, I could not see the formula field column values.But I want those values also to be exported in to an Excel.

 

Kindly suggest with a solution ASAP.

Hi,

When you use "Export Details" button, any summary formula fields won't be included in the excel.

Try "Printable View" button instead.

Sounds like a bug.

 

The formula displays correctly everywhere else?

That makes sense actually that "summary" formulas don't export.
