Creating Formula field in Person Accounts

 

Help needed in creating a Formula field on person Accounts.

 

I need a person Account field to create a formula field , but I could not see the person Account fields when iam trying to insert the fields in to the formula editor. I could only see the Account fields

Person account fields are primarlly stored on contacts the person account really does not exist

Look on contacts or create your formula there

I need that formula field to be created in Account itself not on contacts and i need the contact fields to create the formula field

Here's the scenario for the formula field i wanted to create.

 

if Recordtype= Business then show BillingCity else show personMailingCity

 

The formula field should be created on Accounts and i could not see the personMailingCity field.

Is there anyway we could refer those contact fields which are Person Account fields.
