can we add pick list field to child object through Formula filed

Country is pick list field in Account

 

need to populate same country in child object

 

how can we get it

 

I am providing in this manner but not able to get it

Account__r.Country__c

 

error is throwing : Error: Field Country__c is a picklist field. Picklist fields are only supported in certain functions
