Formulas in reports

Hi All,

 

I need to add a formula while creating a report on custom object. I created the formula but i am unable to add the formula to the report. Any heads up on this will be helpful.

You can create summary or Matrix type reports. These reports directly allowed to create formula on it.

Yes i tried it on summary and Matrix type reports only. i was able to create a formula but was not able to add it to the report.

You just need to drag and drop the formula from left bar into the report.

yes even though i drag and drop or double click, the formula is not getting added to the report.
