Urgent: Different between using Java or .Net to develop?

Hi everybody,

Can anyone tell me which language I used to develop sforce is the best?

I want to know do there have any different using between Java and .Net?

There is no difference in terms of the functionality provided by sforce; its purely a matter of choice.  Java is nice in that many components are free, its standards based, and it runs on multiple platforms.  .NET has the benefit being able to access the Win32 APIs easily.
