Urgent: Querying TextArea field

I find the solutionNote field (text area 32000) not filterable through APIs, but I would like to use this field in my WHERE clause. This is very important for me, can someone help me, please ?

SolutionNote is not a queryable field.

I did notice that SolutionNote is not queryable. But, I would like to restrict my resultset based on this field. I found a work around but would still like to know if the API can be made available to query this field.
