access Salesforce from Blackberry

Login to SFDC from PC and Ipad is ok. But, login from browser to https://login.salesforce.com,

after enter username and password, I get error message " Connection refused na6.salesforce.com:443 "

 

any idea? thanks.

Hi,

 

To access salesforce from BB you have to download salesforce app from https://m.salesforce.com.

 

Also make sure you have mobile profile enable as well as Mobile Profile assigned in User Object.

My user would like to use browser to access SFDC, not install app to the device.

Any idea we can login to salesforce from mobile browser in BB?

Hi,

 

To have better performance i will recomend to use BB APP instead of browser.

You can also access to salesforce by using BB browser. It seems from the error that you are getting "the HTTPS connection through port 443 may be blocked by Black berry Server"

 

Can you please try the link http://login.salesforce.com .

As function available in SFDC app is limited and I do need to use ‘Report’ function within SFDC, I wish to use SFDC via web browser.

Will this be issue with the local telco?
