DataLoader version 25

Hi,

 

today we've tried to configure a batch DataLoader process. It failed to pick up the config file, no matter how we tried. Is this a know issue with version 25? We installed 22 and 23 on the same environment, with exactly the same config (copied the one we build earlier today for version 25), and it worked fine.

In addition to Marco's message, the error message mentioned in the command line output was that the config directory is "null" (while it was being passed conform manual). Result: the dataloader opens in UI mode.

Hi,

 

i have confirmation from SF that this is a known issue in 25. Hope/expect it will be solved in 26. We can use 24 for the time being. 

 

By the way, 25 seems to have at least one other issue as well. When you have installed 25 in another folder than the default one, it clears the whole folder when you uninstall.
