rtuck2009 Compare Contact and User records
Does anyone know of a way to compare a User record's Full Name, E-Mail address and Phone Number with a Contact record's Full name, E-Mail and Phone Number, and if they match, pull that contact into a field.
Here is the example:
I have a user field on one object....I have created a button that, when clicked, it opens up a new case record. I want to find a way to auto-fill the Contact field on the Case by looking at the user field on the other object, comparing those three fields on the user and contact record, and grabbing the Contact record that matches the criteria and auto-filling it in the case Contact field.
Any assistance would and will be greatly appreciated. If this did not come out as well as I had intended, my apologies.
