danand Person account and person contact storage related query
Hi,
We have enabled person account for our organisation.
While enabling the person account we came to know that salesforce count person account and person contact record as seperate storage.
But when we try to reference person contact it takes us to person accounts and also if we try to delete the person account through data loader it throughs an error that cannot reference person contact.
This reflects that both use same storage space.
I am confused about it.....!
A person account is a combination of a contact and an account. It takes up the storage of both objects, since it is in fact both objects combined, but its view is that of the account. If you try to view the contact part of the combined object, it will take you to the account; all of the fields of both the contact and the account can be seen on that one person account page.
