Picklist values causing errors when inserting records via Apex Data Loader

I am having issues with picklist (not multi select) values exist in the opportunity records I am inserting with the data loader. 1 error is for a text type picklist and the other comes from a user picklist value. Any suggestions? Ilooked over other posts so if this has already been answered you can post a link - just couldn't find it.
