List View Mass Edit issue

Hello, 

 

I have a enahnced list view and the profile is having mass edit from lists permission enabled. Still they are not able to see the check box when the filter criteria has a OR condition. 

 

Please advice.

I think this is a standard property of the Enhanced List Views. Because you are having an OR condition in your filter criteria, the users are unable to perform mass edit on the records.

According to Salesforce.com Help - To perform inline editing on an enhanced list, filter logic must be turned off in the list view filter criteria

If you have the “Mass Edit from Lists” permission, you can change the value for a common field in up to 200 records at a time for most kinds of records. Products must be edited one at a time.

To edit a single record from a list:
  1. From the list, double-click the editable cell.
  2. Enter the value you want.
  3. Click OK.

To mass edit records from a list:.

  1. Select the checkbox next to each record you want to edit. You can select records on multiple pages.
  2. Double-click one of the cells you want to edit. Apply your edit to just one record or to every record you selected.
