Our company wants to send mass email with text only.
Is there a way to track emails text? Or just can track the HTML Email?
There is any application? An another user told me there is an AppExchange application.
Where can I find and how do I install?
I thought of entering text using the custom HTML template.
So I can track. But the text in the HTML doesn´t identify the merge fields ( {!Lead.Name} ) !

Salesforce cannot automatically track emails that are only plain text. There are a number of AppExchange vendors that specialize in email marketing / tracking, but you will typically have to pay to use them.
Why can't you send the email as an HTML email? It doesn't have to be fancy - it can even look like plain text but be sent using an HTML email template?

Yes, It has two models: standard HTML with page layout and and custom HTML.
We want to use custom HTML. But does not identify the merge fields. Example: ({!} Lead.Name)!
Am I doing something wrong or that custom HTML can not use merge fields? Someone explained to me that is not possible because it is the HTML language itself <open.cloded> then merge fields do not work.
