Opportunities ?

I need to create Opportunities in Salesforce.com from my client application,

first i need to get all the opportunities existing in salesforce.com for my account , then by comparing some value , if it's not exist i need to create an opportunity there

Let me know if any one knows about this

First identify the field/ fields that uniquely identifies the Opportunity and then get all the Opportunities from SF and check if it already present using these field/(s) ( under the pretext that u dont have the ids )

If not ,add the new opportunity.!!!
