Graphics in Email Templates

I have created HTML email templates with company logo, graphics, etc.  In the preview everything looks fine.

However when I email, you cannot see the graphics on the email in outlook.

 

Is this an outlook settings problem or did I miss something in my email template setup?

Sounds like Outlook is blocking access to the graphics.  Are the graphics embedded into the template itself or are they hyperlinks to the images?

The graphics were embedded.   We had orginally tried this with our standard email template built within salesforce.

We went ahead and created our own with links to the graphics on our network and everything worked fine.
