How do I edit drop down menu options for contacts?

I need to add another option for one of our drop down menus.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks so much.

Go to Setup (at the top of the page). On the left hand tool menu, under App Setup, click Customize, then Contacts, then Fields. Then you will see a list of the standard fields and below it a list of custom fields. The drop down menus in Salesforce are called "picklists". So find the one you need to edit and rather than click edit, you will click the name of the picklist field. At the bottom you will see a list of picklist values, which you can add to, delete from, reorder, etc.
