Disable access to Files

Hi All,

 

I want to prevent a particular profile from acessing "Files". There is no option under profile permissions to do the same. I could only hide the "Files" tab for that profile which did not serve my purpose. Plese help.

Well not sure but you can try unchecking

"Salesforce CRM Content User" checkbox in the User Detail.

What you have found is correct however you can make files private so only restricted group has access to it:
