How to over come limits on controlling/dependent fields ?

Hi All ,

 

 

  I have an requirement where I need to add more than 300 values into controlling/dependent field Any  idea an How to do this ?

 

Since there is an Limit on filed dependencies we can't add more than 300 values into controlling/Dependent field , I want to overcome this

You can increse the limit of picklist by some manual setting please visit http://ap1.salesforce.com/help/doc/en/picklist_limitations.htm for details on how to increse the limits of picklist in salesforce .

Well this one is not a hard limit and you can get it increased by contacting salesforce limit and If I am not wrong they can raise this to something like 1000
