Hide User detail page

How to hide user detail page from other users .

Hi,

Please try to remove "View Setup and Configuration" and "Manage User Permission" from the profiles to which the user detail link should not be visible.

I Removed the Permission View Setup and Configuration" and "Manage User Permission" from the profile.

But Still its not working..

No its not..its a custom profile..with minimum accessability..

I want to remove "User" from Global search Drop down.
