Email alerts

Hi,

I'm trying to deactivate user, however I am unable to complete this because he is being used by email alerts.

Clicking on the Email Alert link takes me to the list of all email alerts. Do anyone know a way to find out which email alert user is associated with, without having to click through each one?

Many thanks,
Sapna

Hi,

Go to >> App Setup >> Create >> Workflows & Approvals >> Settings >>

Change the Default work flow user to some other user.

I think this will resolve your problem.

Hi Sridhar,

Thanks for the reply!

User is not Default work flow user, I guess he is added in some email alerts as Recipients. And I want to find out in which email alert he is linked without going to each email alert manually. Do you know is this possible?

Thanks,

Sapna

Hi,

I think this has to be done manually.

Hi Sapna, The other trick is to import/fetch all the email alerts into your eclipse using the force.com IDE and  use the eclipse search functionality to search for the user id or email.

Hopefully this helps. if yes mark it as a solution for the benefit of others.
