How to merge two records

Hi , can any one help me how to merge 2 records.

Hi Salesforce allows Accounts and Contacts merge.

 

From the Accounts tab under the Tools section Merge Acounts link is there. 

For Contact you can merge from the related lsit of the Accounts.

For other objects free appexchange tool called Dupe Eliminator will work.
