When a parent record is deleted, child records are should not be deleted.

Hello, 

 

is it true or false that when I delete a parent record, the child records are not deleted? I always thought, that the child records are deleted in a master-detail relationship.

Hi,

 

When you delete Parent records in Master Detail relation, all the child’s related to that master will be deleted.

There is will no doubt in that.
