How to save document in local drive using custom label

Hi,

 

My requirement is i need to get page(as PDF or Excel) and store it in local drive(c: or d: drive) of my machine. Then i need to get path of that documnet and mail it to users who are in group.

 

Note : Path should from custom label.

 

Pls help us.

Ahh you are making a basic mistake here, salesforce runs on the cloud and cannot access the document path or location. Salesforce /web application cannot access the local drive of a user alone.

What you can do is a force download a file but the file will be downloaded based on system preferences and you cannot have a control over the location etc
