kittu1105 Force.com IDE plug-in installation
Hello all,
Kindly help me in installing force.com Plug-in in eclipse.The eclipse version is 4.2 (eclipse-SDK-4.2-win-32) . While following the steps given by salesforce for installation got the following error after step 3 (selecting checkbox for installation) .The error is as follows:
Software being installed: Force.com IDE 25.0.0.201206181021 (com.salesforce.ide.feature.feature.group 25.0.0.201206181021)
Missing requirement: Force.com IDE 25.0.0.201206181021 (com.salesforce.ide.feature.feature.group 25.0.0.201206181021) requires 'org.eclipse.update.ui 0.0.0' but it could not be found
Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

Plese Use this below link, Automatically come force.com plug in After that install JRE.

I already have jre and eclipse just need to have force.com plug-in. @Anwar the site u suggested is confusing. It seems need it charges foe eclipse download whereas we can get it for free from other sites.
remove u r eclipse after that just download, automatically force.com plugin and eclipse will come
Can u provide all the steps to download? eg. click this---> then this--> like that. So that i can understand.......
1.click on Url
2.Click on Download button (Under the slow downlaod)
3.enter code belo code
4.click on submit button
5. Wait 30 seconds
6.click on click here to download now button

I followed all the steps mentioned by you. It gives the following error after the last step.
Couldn't get valid connection to DB
