Show 25 items link

Hey all,

 

this is Utkarsh here. I have almost 500 records in one of my custom objects. When i click on custom tab for that object, I get list with standard SF UI. at bottom I can see link named ' Show 25 Items' ...when I click on that link it does nt show 25 items but sometimes show 15 or sometimes 20 & link changes to 'Show 10 Items'. Is this SF system issue ? how to fix this to show exact 25 or 10 records

It comes by deafult as defined by salesforce but if you click on GO  it will show 25 records at bottom adjust the view by clicking on 1 50 100 records per page..next time it will show those many records per page but still you have to click on GO everytime
