Interesting Requirements

How to hide Home tab ?

How to chnage color of the standard tabs ?

How to side for particular objects (ideas) ?

How to create libraries under Libreies ?

1) You can not remove the home tab, but you could add a VF page to it.

1) how can i add vf page to complete Home tab ? because there is no buttons and links in home tab

3) I need to remove side bar for only standard ideas tab. for all other tabs i need the side bar ,  other wise sugges me is it possible different sidebar componets for differe

--You have to create a Vf page and upon login users will be re-directed to your VF page instead of your home tab.

 

-- side bar is common across the org. The only choice you have is either to show it or to hide it. You can write a VF page if you want your own customizations.

 

-- For libraries login to your SF instance, you would need "Salesforce content user" set to true in user account. Next, navigate to Setup - Customize - Salesforce CRM content - Content Permissions (edit them and play around whitin the salesforce crm content section). Next, navigate to libraries tab and create new libraries and assign users to it with either author / viewer or workspace administrator permisson.
