Make User Custom Fields Read only

Good Day!

I am using partner 5 and a dev account.

I have 2 custom fields in USERS and I want to make this read only

does anybody know a way as to how can I do this? in other objects there's a "View Field Accessibility" this does not exist in User Fields

I have the same problem,

I have an integration app that uses custom fields in Accounts, Contacts, etc including Users.

Aside from users I have use the "view field accessibility" to make my custom fields read only.

But how can I do this in the Users page?

Any suggestion will be appreciated

As far as I can tell there's no FLS (Field Level Security) options on the Users object custom fields...

Is Field-Level Security still not available for custom fields on the User object?

If not, is it possible to set it through the API?
