What are the Best integration options to integrate java with salesforce?

Hi all,

 

I am doing a project to integrate java with salesforce. I need to find out the various options to integrate except web service. Suggest me the various options to integrate java with salesforce. Please help me out...

If you want to use java, then web services (either soap, or rest style services) are you only option. (or you use some third party tool that like informatica that maps to the web services for you)

Thank you so much Mr. Simon.I was out of station tats y i cant reply you earlier.

 

But i want to know the other options except web service. Coz WSC , Apachi Axis and JAX-WS all are using web service concept..
