Do you want the actual application package to go onto appexchange and have your customers deploy the whole application themselves?

Or do you want to host the application yourself and use AppExchange to distribute it as a service to your Salesforce customers?

Thanks jesperfj,

Yes ,We want the actual application(our Spring App)  to go onto appexchange and have our customers deploy the whole application themselves? We are also looking for non-salesforce customer also, who can use our application from force.com platform as a service with OEM License and TrialForce . Can we put our Spring(J2EE,hibernate,Ajax,JSP) application on AppExchange without waiting for VMForce ? if yes ,then please give some detail how we can .

thanks in advance.

it means we have to convert our app to native force.com app to reach on AppExchange . Could you plz describe which edition we should use for development . I am studing force.com development for last 10 days , but i am little confused for choosing a development edition . should we use ISV partner portal or use developer edition . we want to markert through both AppExhange and OEM . Will OEM be available in Developer edition ? it would be great help if u clear my doubts .

thanks in advance

Hi Manjeet,

Use the ISV partner portal developer edition to create a managed pacakge.  Then you can install this package into a Trialforce OEM org for distribution.  The managed package will allow you to produce new versions and upgrade your customers.

For more details in general about the package development process, see this guide:

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi jesperfj,

Is it possible to host the application ourselves and use AppExchange to distribute it as a service to our Salesforce customers? can you explain something about this?

Thanks in advance....
