Help Text For Custom Object

Hi 

i have a question 

 

Can i add help text for standard fields on a custom object. I could not do that when i edit a field . And i observed that we can add help text for stndard fields on a standard object.

 

Is there any way we can do it.

No you can't add help text for standard fields on a custom object.

'Record Type' is the only Standard field  on the Custom object where you can add Help Text.
