adding some more details in above issue

"Account" having a custom field as "Amount" of Currency Type.

Whenerver I try to update "Amount" from our application using API, it get updated as well

As posting amount in USD, and on UI it shows AUD (which is Account currency Type). Please let me know how can I make amount in USD instead of AUD.

Tried solve by:

did some work around, USD amount converted it into AUD using SFDC exchange rate and updated to foreign account. It works well. Its having a drawback that Amount will be changing in corporate currency with respect to exchange rate.

Any other firm idea where I can update amount in corporate currency(USD) directly to Foreign Account.

Thankful for immediate reply.
