sForce Explorer 6.0 not working with .NET 2.0?

I have recently installed VS .NET 2005 with .NET Framework 2.0. I went to sourceforge to download sForce Explorer and it is quitting on me by saying it requires v1.1.4322 of framework!

Do I have to download v1.1.4322 or a fix is available?

Thanks.

AFAIK, its not been ported to .NET 2.0 yet, you'll need 1.1

Any idea when it will be ported to 2.0?

I clean installed the OS on my laptop and then installed the VS .NET 2005. I am kind of concerned whether installing v1.1 after v2.0 of framework will mess up anything...

Its open source, no need to wait on anyone else, have at it!

I understand.

But,how do you go by modifying a Windows Installer Package to make the sforceexplorer.exe to not prompt you to download .NET 1.1.4322 and work with .NET 2.0? I have never attempted it.

Just install .NET 1.1: Download link

That solved the problem for me.
